Marilyn Monroe Champagne

French champagne house JM Gobillard & Fils is set to debut a champagne named after famous Hollywood actress Marilyn Monroe. The bubbly is made from 50% Chardonnay and Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunior that was aged for three years. The Marilyn Monroe Premier Cru Brut is set to premier this week. The 750ml bottle is priced at $130.00 and a special set with six accompanying curved flutes is priced at $325.00 dollars.

If you enjoy the very prestigious Louis XIII Cognac, then behold the newly launched Le Jeroboam package. This 3 liter decanter holds four times more cognac than the standard Louis XIII bottle. Five kilos of crystal was melted to create to this impressive bottle and the four accompanying snifters. Additionally the neck of the bottle is adorned with 24 ct gold labeling. Given Liqueur is a blend of premium agave tequila (Jalisco Mexico), all natural lime juice (using whole limes in the maceration process) and Sauvignon Blanc grapes; handcrafted through an infusion process in the Cognac region of France. I had a chance to try this unique offering last week and I was instantly in love.

Last year while in Miami I fell in love with Relax Riesling. I had heard that a red varietal was added to the Relax line up and I was instantly intrigued. Relax Cool Red is a German red wine made from 100% Dornfelder grapes and is meant to be enjoyed chilled.
