Pagani Huayra Supercar

Pagani Automobili is an Italian automaker that specializes in super limited luxury supercars. The Pagini Huayra is the successor to the Pagani Zonda and is the second model produced by Pagani.

Directly translated from Quechua, the indigenous language spoken in the Andes region of South America, it means “wind”. With this
insanely hooked up vehicle you will probably be not even feel the wind. Check it out.

Like the Zonda, the Huayra uses a Mercedes-AMG 60° V-12 engine, now fitted with dual turbochargers. This engine, the M158, produces over 700 horsepower and a torque of over 1,000 N·m (740 lb·ft). Its top speed is over 230 mph and it has a 0-60 mph time of 3.5 seconds.

Using Pirelli tires, the Pagani Huayra is capable of withstanding 1.5g of lateral acceleration at speeds of 230 mph (370 km/h).

Unlike many modern supercars, the Pagani Huayra does not use a dual-clutch gearbox; instead it uses a seven-speed sequential gearbox and a dual-disc clutch.

The official world debut will be at the Geneve Auto Salon 2011 in March. The Pagani Huayra will be available this Spring and will be priced around £850,000.00 pounds. Photos courtesy of www.ultimatecarpage.com.
